The symbol represents the connections between nodes rather than the nodes themselves. It contains eight connection points and eight nodes visible in negative space, a considered reference to the n8n name that rewards close reading without depending on it.
The symbol can be used independently in applications where the full lockup is impractical, including favicons, app icons, stickers, and physical objects. In these contexts it carries the full weight of recognition on its own.
